Join Heidi for an introduction to Mindfulness Meditation and how to use this powerful tool as a formal meditation discipline, as a practice within everyday life and to enhance your asana practice. Will we explore ancient and contemporary meditation techniques together- seated, standing and walking, and then apply our understanding in a Slow Flow class. In this way we aim to drop within and dwell from a place of deep abiding calm.
About the teacher
Heidi has been teaching yoga since 2001 and studying yoga and associated disciplines since she was in her late teens. She has participated in several silent mediation retreats as well as completing formal courses and training units in meditation. Mindfulness enhances her personal practice both as a formal sitting meditation and as a vital aspect of her personal yoga asana practice.
